Netflix Finally Comes to Linux

Netflix just might run on every computer in the world – unless it’s running a standard Linux distro.  Though dedicated appliances like the Boxee Box run Netflix on Linux, the company refuses to release universal support to the Linux community at large.

We finally have a reasonable way to run Netflix natively on Linux using Wine.  No more choppy playback from Windows VMs on your penguin lovin’ PC.  Your Mythtv frontend can finally include Netflix in its arsenal of mind-numbing media madness.  This has been a long time coming.  Catch details in the links below or do a search for many more.
